• Alternate Character Interpretation: Does Anna Grant genuinely want a revolution, or does she just want to seize power for herself or another Federation faction by using Hob's men as Unwitting Pawns?
• Fridge Brilliance: Avon's often violent reaction to women who try to deceive him may be due to a subconscious suspicion that Anna Grant was deceiving him. Certainly it explains Avon's obsession with loyalty over even his well-known self-interest.
• Fridge Logic
  • Given the stated effectiveness of brainwashing and mind probes in Season A, why does the Federation bother using torture for interrogation purposes?
  • Bartholomew noting all of Avon's co-conspirators so they can be arrested doesn't match with how Avon keeps running into them alive and free, e.g. Tynus in "Killer" (but we could interpret dialogue between Tynus and Avon as Avon having concealed Tynus' involvement thus protecting him from capture - Avon does say Tynus owes him) and her own brother Del in "Countdown" (though she might have let her brother escape as well).
• Sacred Cow: Near-universally held up as one of the best episodes of Blake's 7, thanks to its Character Development for Avon.
