• Seasonal Rot: Season 2 is far less well-regarded by fans of the series compared to Season 1, with the second season being considered too off-the-wall and surreal and dealing with far fewer real-life issues.
• Iron Woobie: Jo, who's dealt with years of bullying due to her weight, gets lied to by someone she trusts, and is made fun of for her appearance again and again on national TV. It hurts her, but she keeps on going.
