- Growing the Beard: This episode is considered by many to be the one where the series really hit its full stride
for fleshing out both Aang's and Zuko's backstories and revealing the full depths of their insecurities, particularly as it came right after "The Great Divide" which is regarded as the worst episode of the entire show.
