• Unintentionally Sympathetic: Stan is raked over the coals for befriending the students instead of being an authority student; he is called out for abusing his authority. However, if anything, the students appeared to be taking him for granted; his simple request to turn down the music and stop drinking is met with hostility, even though this is literally the first time he does his job, as previously he had been nothing but kind and helpful to the students. He even tries to warn them that the other guards will panic and go overboard, which they perceive as a threat.
