- Periphery Demographic: Unexpectedly, Toussaint wrote two songs that hit #1 on the Billboard Country Music chart: "All These Things" (originally recorded by Art Neville in 1962) in a Cover Version by Joe Stampley in 1976, and then Glen Campbell's take on "Southern Nights" (also a #1 Hot 100 hit) the next year.
