- Fair for Its Day: The sitcom was littered with Asian stereotypes, but All-American Girl was the one of the first primetime sitcoms to feature an Asian-American family and still is one of the few predominately Asian-American television series. The show simply airing on a major broadcast network was considered a win for racial representation.
