  • Demonic Spiders
    • Sea Monsters spawn if you spend too much time in water. They're incredibly fast, have an absurdly high amount of health, and kill you instantly on contact. It is possible to avoid them; Sea Monsters can't dive, so you they can't hurt you if you get below them, and if you have a lead shield, you can repel their Collision Damage long enough to put a vertical difference between the two of you. If you're riding a horse, they can't hurt the horse and can't get to you unless you dive. Good thing, too, because one of the gold farming areas, and the only place to get blue dyes, Blue Hill, is entirely underwater.
    • Imps spawn in the Woods. They're pretty weak (enough to be killed by one charged sword attack), but they're fast, and are one of the few enemies in the game to have a ranged attack. There is a good strategy for dealing with them, namely taking advantage of the fact that they can't jump (and are too stupid to back away from walls to attack you from a distance) by hopping up onto higher ground and attacking them from there. However, if you don't know this, or get caught out in a wide open area with nothing to jump up onto, you're pretty much screwed.
  • Goddamned Bats: Basic Orcs aren't particularly difficult to deal with, but can be really annoying if you're trying to harvest resources in the wilderness or one of the dungeons.
