• Epic Riff: Many, but special mention goes to the opening riff of "Colours of Autumn".
• Follow the Leader: Due to being one of the best known (and arguably the first), most bands with NSBM tropes can always tie back to Absurd. It should be noted their influence is so vast that the infamous Ukraine festival of Asgardsrei is named after their album of the same name.
• Growing the Beard: Their early material suffered from the band trying way too hard to sound "raw" in a way that detracted from their sound, but over time they became a pretty good band.
