• Arc Fatigue: Had started to crop up slightly with each arc getting longer (7/8 chapters compared to 2/3 in the beginning). The Uiharu Kazari arc, in particular, boasts in excess of 1 million words spread over 47 chapters due to covering the events of the London arcs from Academy City's side and its own concurrent events.
• Nightmare Fuel: The things that Touma was put through at the hands of Kamui Kihara is nothing short of monstrous. This crosses over into Tearjerker territory when the author reveals that Touma's perseverance gained at the hands of Othinus' torture only made Kamui try harder thus Touma's misfortune was still active in full force.
