The Florans who fought the Faahri at the start were Sedge loyalists.

That's why further encounters were automatically hostile on the Faahri end. They assumed all Florans were the enemy. But while the Faahri were technically invaders in this scenario, the first skirmish ensured that diplomacy was never going to even enter the table (and also because Rhomb arrived after Pistil made first contact, and she's probably not the best at diplomacy either).

  • Nah. While the lore entries do state that the skirmish was at Sedge's old camp, the Floran who found Faahri intruders reported to Nuru.

So, what's the deal with Sedge's Conquest ending?

  • Since the whole of Conquest Mode is Maestra keeping everybody trapped in a Mental World, everything else seems to be happening in someone's mind; but that doesn't really explain Sedge's, whose mind would dream up that one? It could be a mix of Ryota's memory of Sedge and Lytra's desire to make friends; hence Ryota and Sedge being friends, along with everyone else present in Felheim Conquest.

...in the form of Koji and Errol getting together and leaving Heavensong against Tenri's wishes just like with Maestra and her son.

Cacophony cannibalized Ancient technology for their advancements.

Specifically, gateways built eons ago across a great many planets. It may also explain how humans came to be in the world of Wargroove.

Cacophony and Silmor were probably highly advanced as well as a result (more evident with the Guardians encountered in the campaign), since Prince Sordino called Koji's Tenko a "mech", just like Nuru did.
