The Whole Series Is On Drugs
Either Mackenzie goes through each case high as a kite or everyone else does. She carries around a mushroom for a pet, for crying out loud! Her very first case has her eating mushroom cookies baked in a microwave and using them to have strange dreams with Penelope. Given all the zany weirdness, drugs don't seem out of the question.- Jossed to the extreme max. Nothing to do with drugs one bit. The creator simply just wanted to have those as characters, nothing more than that.
