The Ringmasters are former racers back from when Riq and King's racing days.
According to his bio, he has frequent contact with his fellow retired racers. Plus how else would Smythe been able to get so close where the racers work and relax without security. Pike will join the good side for reasons unknown.
In the season 2 intro while Meika's on the side with the antagonist racers, Pike is on the side with the protagonist racers. Meika's on the bad side due to her loyalty to the Ringmaster's so it must mean that if Meika's on the bad side for a reason, Pikes on the good side for a reason too. There will be a love triangle between Sonny and Pike for Meika.
With Sonny and Meika being good friends, and Pike having past relations, seeing Sonny attract Meika, will make him jealous and want Sonny dead while Sonny will want to save Meika from him. Meika and Pike will mend fences or at least some form of understanding.
After facing cold treatment due to her secret discovered, she'll realize this is alot like her and Pike and begin to see his point of view. Why Meika works for the Ringmasters
We know that she's from a wealthy family, so the most likely angle would come from her parents being involved somehow. Either: A) Her father is one of the Ringmasters, or B) her family is being blackmailed or owes money to them. Meika and Pike's former relationship
They used to date until she discovered he was a crime lord. Might involve scenario "B" of the above hypothesis if the breakup involved her family ending up in his debt. There will be an episode where everyone reacts to the Rimba Kids
It would be a pure hilarious comedy breather ep filled with embarrassment, likeness and wrath on king for allowing it.
