Spoilers Off applies to Wild Mass Guessing pages. As such beware of spoilers!

Future members of the Phantom Thieves
  • Chiaki: Considering that she and Hajime on listed in the tags, but neither of them has had a major role in the story, Chiaki being a member would make sense.
    • While she doesn't gain a Persona in Chapter 39, Chiaki does become aware that Makoto is a Phantom Thief so it's possible.
      • Chapter 47 sees Chiaki awaken to her Persona, Alexey, but she does not become an official member of the Phantom Thieves.
      • As of Chapter 50, Confirmed!
  • Peko: Fuyuhiko already has a role in the story, but if the Kuzuryu clan does have a target, someone like Peko would make a perfect phantom thief.
  • Mukuro: If she's not the Phantom Thief Killer, her being the team's final member (most likely brought in if Junko is a target) would make a lot of sense.
  • Hajime: Once he's returned to normal, him being a later team member would certainly make sense.
    • As of Chapter 50, Confirmed!

Future Palace Targets
  • Junko: Makoto mentioned that he felt like Junko was toying with her, so her being the final target would be a perfect way to end the story.
  • Tengan: The story is clearly building up to the Steering Committee being the final target, so the head being the final Palace would check out.
  • Someone in the Kuzuryu clan: Considering that a Yakuza was a target in Persona 5, having a member be a target would be an interesting story arc.
  • Izuru: But in a twist on the formula, the group is actually attacking his Palace in hopes of freeing Hajime.
    • Confirmed!

Who's the Phantom Thief Killer?
The final part of Kirie's palace shows that there is someone else using the Metaverse and they are not on the side of the Phantom Thieves. So who are they? It's not a detective like Akechi was (since both Shuichi and Kyoko are on the side of the Phantom Thieves), so who is it?
  • Mukuro: It could be why she's so annoyed whenever the Phantom Thieves are successful.
  • Maki: She's already an assassin.
  • Junko: Who would have her own agenda when compared to the Steering Committee.

Who's the Phantom Knight?
Chapter 39 introduced another Persona user who isn't a Phantom Thief or the Phantom Killer, so who are they?
  • Ryota: He's the most likely suspect due to the Knight due to his philosophy being similar to Dr. Maruki's.
    • Makoto suspects this to be true upon meeting Mitarai in the real world, but it's quite likely the person he met was the Ultimate Imposter disguised as Mitarai. This could imply that the real Mitarai is the real Phantom Knight while the Imposter pretends to be him to give him a cover story.

The Phantom Killer and the Phantom Knight are the same person
Considering how easy it is to accidentally cause a mental shutdown if you aren't aware of how the Metaverse works, the Knight, who seems to be operating without any aid from a local of the Metaverse, may have accidentally built up a reputation as a killer by mistake
