Flim & Flam are up to no good again?
Being the snake-oil charlatans and bald-faced liars that they usually are, they're most likely working a scam at Gladmane's that only Applejack can uncover with her honesty. And because the map called for Fluttershy to go with Applejack, the scam must involve animals being victims of wrongful exploitation (mistreatment, slavery, and trafficking) or being key witnesses to Flim & Flam's criminal enterprising.- Jossed. They're the ones being tricked. And the animals are key witnesses to Gladmane's criminal enterprising.
Flim & Flam have dug themselves into a hole they can't get out of?
Flim & Flam's nature as con-artists has seriously backfired and gotten them into a deep debt with Gladmane's that they're struggling to work off but can't as they don't understand the virtues of Honesty and Kindness, hence the reason why only Applejack and Fluttershy can help them.- Jossed.
The Flim Flam Bros. will be reformed in this episode.
Flim and Flam are pretty much the only recurring minor antagonists that have not yet been reformed; Gilda, Trixie, and Diamond Tiara have all "seen the light" over this and the previous season, so it's reasonable to conclude that now it's their turn.- Jossed. They comment that their helping was a "once in a lifetime opportunity - emphasis on once".
Gladmane will return to take revenge on Applejack, Fluttershy, and the Flim Flam Bros.
Like Svengallop, it's likely that Gladmane has effectively been blackballed from working on the major attractions of Las Pegasus. That said, he'll blame Applejack, Fluttershy, and the Flim Flam Bros. for his misfortune and formulate a plan to ruin their lives. He and Svengallop could even team up, recognizing that they both see Applejack as their enemy. The reason no gambling is actually seen
Well,other then this show having a Y rating. Fluttershy and Applejack simply stick to the family friendly parts of the resort, unless they absolutely have to.
