Skeletor's memories of Apollyos were reinterpretations based on his life experiences in Anwat Gar
- He did seem to have grown up rather well in the place as his flashbacks depict him in grief over the Horde conquering his homeland. So therefore Hordak used his rather happy life experiences, including having a wife and daughter, to create the ones in Apollyos, using the Havoc Staff's influence to make it More than Mind Control. The truth is that Keldor's people are all gone including his direct family, and they're all gone for good.
