The new characters introduced in Chapters 2, 3, 4, and eventually 5 will become a complete replacement cast by the end of Chapter 6.
There are all sorts of Death Flags going up in Chapter 4.- Jossed in that the new characters do not replace the old. Depending on the ending obtained in Chapter 8, everybody lives or everybody dies.
