It'd be a violation of the Rule of Drama for them to never come up in the story again, and seeing as how they are likely active villains, it would make sense that they would draw themselves to another group to strengthen themselves after the loss of one of their heavy hitters.- Either that, or they'll attack UA directly with the intent of kidnapping Miu.
The true plot is the story is a record of Akashi's quest to become the God of Sheeple!
