''Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Atelier of a New Land'' is a SpinOff of Gust's ''VideoGame/{{Atelier}}'' series of {{Role Playing Game}}s.

Nelke, daughter of a family of nobles, is tasked with developing Vestbalt, a small village on the nation's frontier. Unfortunately, she does not possess the gift of alchemy: in order to create the items and materials needed to expand Vestbalt, she will need to recruit the help of the legendary alchemists. These legendary alchemists also happen to be the protagonists of previous ''Atelier'' games.

''Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists'' distinguishes itself from the rest of the series by adding a [[ConstructionAndManagementGames strong emphasis on town-building]]: players can choose which buildings to make and where to place them, allowing them to customize the town to their liking.

!! This game provides examples of the following tropes:

* FakeCrossover: The protagonists of past games haven't been warped to this game's universe; the game exists within its own continuity and these characters have always lived there, similarly to how Hagel, Pamela, and Logy have counterparts in different ''Atelier'' continuities.
* GiantWaistRibbon: Nelke has a big red and white ribbon on her dress.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Nelke is a noblewoman who works hard to expand the town of Vestbalt.
