"Final Fantasy XII" (seen here in the The Zodiac Age HD remastered version) ends with Penelo narrating a letter to Larsa, telling him about what happened after the final battle- such as how things have gone back to as they once were in Rabanastre, but how Ashe is growing more distant from the party, now that she's Queen.
