Kaori and Tanosuke see a comet

Tanosuke couldn't sleep as he kept thinking of Kaori. When he awaoke, he saw her outside, so he decided to speak to her. They discussed their pasts and she told him she feared she would never see her brother ever again and cries. Tanosuke tells her that she must have hope and he probably is alive. Just then, a shooting star flies across the sky. Seeing this, Kaori has hope and asks Tanosuke to take her to its location.
