I've lurked this site for a little over a year now. A friend on a forum linked here in a writing advice topic, and I checked it out and ended up on a month-long Wiki Walk-slash-Archive Binge. I come back and read another large binge at least once a month. It's true what they say about this site's power to distract.
Like I said in Troper Demographics, I'm more of a geek than a nerd. I like video games (Pokemon and Mega Man especially). Other things I enjoy include: The Legend Of Zelda, The Mentalist, NCIS, Discworld, and Power Girl.
I love comic books and sometimes attempt to make them. I love writing but am not very good at it. Tropes fascinate me, though.
Music-wise, I'm a fan of the Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Girls Aloud, Lady Ga Ga, The Killers and dance/disco music, although I enjoy almost every genre save black metal.
