• Licensed Game: The game had a beat 'em up (also known as Age of Wanderer) that's one of the best-known things about the show in western countries. It's infamous in its homeland for its shameless tracing of SNK game sprites and its unremarkable gameplay ^note although its soundtrack was well-received, to the point that reviewers recommend playing older beat 'em ups based on Kim Du-han and Sirasoni over this one.
• Magnum Opus Dissonance: The creators always intended to focus on Kim Du-han's involvement in politics more than on his fistfights, but its initial half received much better ratings than the second.
• Only Barely Renewed: Despite the second half having worse ratings than the earlier part, the show was extended from the original 100 planned episodes to 124, likely as an answer to its early popularity.
