• Ascended Fanon: The Blaster Master adaptation became canon to the games. In the backstory of Blasting Again, Jason is said to have married Eve, the woman from another planet who appears only in the book and is his companion for much of the story. Its elements were also reused for Blaster Master Zero, with Jason as a Badass Bookworm and Eve as a Robot Girl.
