- Author's Saving Throw: After reaching Too Bleak, Stopped Caring levels of darkness in Volume 4, the author acknowledged the criticisms and promised the series would be much lighter from that point forward. When the author received the same complaints about the fic's Grimdark nature all the way into Volume 6, they ultimately decided to cancel the fic.
