- Troubled Production: Filming and production abruptly ceased halfway through the first season due to COVID-19. Social distancing measures prevented more filming, while existing footage could not be processed for editing due to the crew not being allowed to enter the office. While filming for the last two episodes started in 2022, it took until December 15, 2023 for the fifth episode to release.
- What Could Have Been: While there were plans to have the series continue beyond its first ten-episode season, the changes to the world caused by COVID-19 led to a Troubled Production that convinced TFS to simply end Unabridged after filming eventually resumed and completing the first and only season at six episodes.
