- False Credit: Despite being credited for doing so, Neil Carter did not play keyboards on The Wild, the Willing, and the Innocent, instead only contributing as a rhythm guitarist. Keyboards were actually handled by John Sloman, who was briefly a member of the band between the departure of Paul Raymond and hiring of Carter.
- Star-Making Role: They were this for Michael Schenker, and he was this for UFO. Prior to Schenker joining, UFO was an unremarkable and unsuccessful psychedelic rock act, and Schenker was a relatively unknown guitarist who recorded a similarly unremarkable psychedelic rock album and then quit his band. With Schenker, UFO became an incredibly influential hard rock act, while Schenker became one of the most legendary rock guitarists of all time.
