• Throw It In!: The scenes leading up to Mark Madoff's suicide showing him gradually degrading in mental health were largely improvised by Alessandro Nivola at Barry Levinson. They shot scenes of Nivola playing Mark, making erratic calls, and constantly rotating the blinds up and down to give the impression of Mark really losing his grip on life.
