• Edited for Syndication: 'Survival of the Fattest' was pretty heavily edited for Channel Four's UK screenings ^note as of Halloween 2017, at least:
  • Comic Book Guy's death is off-screen^note the video portion is replaced with a recycled earlier shot of Lenny and Carl pondering what "most dangerous game" could be, while the audio is untouched. This means Lenny and Carl teleport between shots. Despite this, most of the other shootings are intact.
  • Mr. Burns' line, "I smell fear... mixed with curry" before he finds Apu is shortened to "I smell fear..."
  • Apu's line, "Help me, Jesus" is cut.
  • Krusty's death scene is mostly cut, only leaving in the part where he initially gets shot.
  • Mr. Burns shooting Barney's corpse is shortened so that he only fires once (leading to a second bullet hole randomly appearing when the corpse falls over), and the shot of Barney's corpse post-shooting was also cut.
  • Terry Bradshaw complains that the network will cut to commercial before Homer and Marge "begin the tender act of love". Cut to the next short's title screen. In the original version, they continue to "make love" in the background, making this some kind of un-subversion on Channel Four's part.
