• Banned in China: The Brazilian government was mad over the show's depiction of the country and had it banned after only two airings. When FOX released season 13 of the show to Brazil, the episode did end up being released on DVD after some contention. It probably helped that the showrunners did apologize for it and meant the jokes only in jest. It was later re-aired in Brazil in December 2002, with a statement at the beginning noting that Fox is not responsible for the vision of the producers behind the episode.
