  • Blooper: Lenny is among the crowd fighting against the dolphins in the end, in spite of being their first casualty.
    • Eating the broccoli a second time kills Homer's ghost. Later, it's shown that food goes through him. Either it's a blooper...or it's a testament to how dangerous broccoli really is.
  • Deleted Scene:
    • In "G-G-Ghost D-D-Dad", after Homer reaches Heaven St Peter asks him for his name to which Homer says Nedward Flanders, but St Peter tells him that he isn't due to die until Tuesday and Homer celebrates.
    • Bart laments why did they take "him" away. Homer tells him to be strong. Bart then again laments what kind of God would let Krusty to be pre-empted for the stupid playoffs to which Homer asks that they forgot him already and strangles him.
    • In "Scary Tales Can Come True", Homer says that can't get along without him asking Marge and Lisa who will blunder into a tree or tumble into a dumb wagon, then his self esteem was tied up to that job.
    • The handsome prince asks Rapunzel to let down her hair, and as she does. It all lands on the ground and the princess ends up bald after Homer separated Rapunzel's hair and plummeted to the ground.
    • After the witch calls Homer a clumsy oaf, he says he's no longer an oaf.
    • In "Night of the Dolphin", After the people dive in the water to play with Snorky, Chief Wiggum arrives and tells them to stop because he's got cutsies, then Ralph begins to touch Snorky's blowhole, then he tells his father that Snorky liked it then Chief Wiggum takes Ralph home to wash his finger.
    • Dr. Julius Hibbert fights with hypodermics.
    • Moe puts a gas tube down a dolphin's blow hole during the humans vs. dolphin war.
    • Grampa bursts out of the dolphin and participating in the Springfield's battle against the dolphins.
  • Out of Holiday Episode: This is the first "Treehouse Of Horror" episode to not air in time for Halloween, having premiered on November 1, 2000, due to Fox's contract to show the World Series games. It wouldn't be until season 21's "Treehouse Of Horror XX" that the Simpsons would air another "Treehouse Of Horror" episode on or before Halloween. Bart's deleted line might have been a lampshade on this.
