• Meaningful Release Date: Chapter 6 was released on the two-year anniversary of "Uncanny Mr Mario", an SMG4 episode about Mario trapped in a simulation. This fanfic is a retelling of Western Spaghetti, a movie about Mario trapped in a simulation.
• What Could Have Been: Wren and Inkura’s battle was originally going to be in the Kelp Dome, but the author decided on Hammerhead Bridge instead because keen-eyed viewers of Western Spaghetti can see Hammerhead Bridge in the background during Wren’s flashback depicting the aftermath of this very battle. Plus, a friend of the author’s (Makerboy 10) already used the Kelp Dome in his own depiction of the battle.
• Working Title: Chapter 5 was originally going to be titled "The Decisive Kelp Dome Showdown" instead of "The Decisive Bridge Battle", for reasons seen above.
