Trivia / The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser

• Dawson Casting: The 41 year old Bruno Schleinstein as the 17 year old Hauser. We probably aren't supposed to believe that he's 17 though.
• Enforced Method Acting: Werner Herzog chose Bruno Schleinstein because he believed that Bruno's mental illness and childhood abuse gave him the right sense of detachment and wildness.
