• Blooper: Mike, Carol and Bobby leave for the studio in the convertible, but return home in the station wagon. According to Barry Williams' autobiography, the wrong stock footage (the nighttime scene of the station wagon pulling into the driveway) was inserted in the transition scene (where, after not winning the ice cream contest, Bobby notices there are no lights on and suggests that's because nobody cared to see a loser, prompting Mike to tell him to stop with the self-pity attitude). Williams also noted that a big deal was made about it in the National Enquirer; apparently, a reporter posing as a "concerned viewer" had called Sherwood Schwartz (after noticing the mistake) and asked what was amiss.
