• Development Gag: Flint and Chert, the two Quartzes Yellow restores from the forced fusion, were originally supposed to be part of the Off-Colors. They were scrapped as they would have been Off-Colors because of how they chose to act, rather than being a permafusion or born with a defect. Now they found their way back into the series.
• Early-Bird Release: The episode was released on the Cartoon Network app on March 23rd, 2020, four days before it was set to be aired on television. This was the date of the canceled theatrical showing of the Steven Universe: The Movie singalong organized by Fathom Events to which it would’ve been attached.
