Trivia / Stargate Universe S 1 E 1 Air Part 1

• Recycled Set: The Icarus Base and Homeworld Command sets are redressed versions of the Stargate Command sets from Stargate SG-1 (which had not been dismanled at the time "Air" filmed given that MGM was still hoping to shoot more SG-1 DTV films).
• Special Effects Failure: Daniel Jackson's SGC orientation video, or at least the opening segment in front of the Earth Stargate. Michael Shanks has clearly been shot against a green screen rather than on the actual set (probably due to the SGC set being redressed as Icarus Base and/or Shanks' shooting availability).
