Trivia / Stargate Atlantis S03 E07 "Common Ground"

• Development Gag: Kolya's motivation. He wants revenge on Radim for the events of Season Two's "Coup D'etat", as he was the one behind the attempt to topple Cowen and he feels his subordinate stole the leadership of the Genii and all its power from him. This is a nod to how Kolya was originally intended to appear during "Coup D'etat" and they had to swap him out for Radim when Robert Davi was unavailable (hence, Radim literally and figuratively 'stole' the leadership from Kolya).
• First Appearance: Todd the Wraith.
• Real Life Writes the Plot: Again, Kolya being the rebel trying to seize control of new Genii regime only came about because Robert Davi was unavailable during "Coup D'etat". Ladon presumably would have taken that role in this episode in Kolya's place (or alternately it's debatable if this episode would've even happened with Ladom).
