• Deleted Scene: One in "Shopping List", where SpongeBob and Sandy travel to the Kelp Forest to gather long-grained seaweed, a plant that releases extremely poisonous spores if pulled out of the ground. They safely harvest the seaweed, but Plankton doesn’t, and he is poisoned by the spores and swells up.
• What Could Have Been:
  • In "Mustard O' Mine", SpongeBob, Squidward, and Patrick were originally going to ride a snail camel. They would melt in the sun and be spit out by the snail.
  • In "Shopping List", when SpongeBob patted Matilda, it would have acted like a dog, happily shaking its propeller like a tail. Matilda was also shaped like a normal submarine instead of an acorn.
  • When SpongeBob is starting to suffocate in Matilda (due to it being filled with air), Plankton would have been shown drying up and trying to breathe.
  • When Matilda first takes off, Plankton (hiding in a toolbox) would have been hit by all the tools at once, rather than avoiding all but one of them in the actual episode.
