- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Marvel's lost the rights to the titular Shogun Warrior mecha, so there are no digital comics and (as of May 2022) any collections are out of print.
- Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": Due to the toy and licensing arrangements, Combatra and Raydeen reached an American audience via Shogun Warriors before their original incarnations as Combattler V and Raideen did.
- What Could Have Been: The original trio of robots would have been Raydeen, Dragun (Getter Robo G), and Great Mazinga (Great Mazinger), but Marvel learned they didn't have the rights to use Dragun and Great Mazinga, thus Combatara and Danguard Ace were used.
