• Inspiration for the Work: The Evil Leapers were inspired by the episode "KITT vs. KARR" from Knight Rider. According to Richard C. Okie, he brought up "KITT vs. KARR" (which he had written) during a Quantum Leap writers' meeting, asking if Quantum Leap had done an episode with an evil counterpart. Deborah Pratt liked the idea and ran with it from there.
