- Screwed by the Lawyers: In a rather strange example, a number of websites re-hosting Unbound were apparently sent DMCA takedowns from Skeli. However, he later came out and stated that they were not the one behind them, and clarified on the Pokecommunity page that he gave full permission for other sites to re-host the hack. He then chewed out the perpetrator(s) due to them bringing copyright into ROM hacking, which is a notoriously volatile subject (especially regarding Nintendo's properties), and stopped posting progress updates for the then-upcoming 2.0 version update.
- Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: Progress updates for the then-upcoming 2.0 version stopped going public after someone posted false DMCA claims to non-Pokécommunity websites in Skeli's name.
