• Posthumous Credit: As with most of the previous Under Suspicion novels, Mary Higgins Clark is credited as co-author alongside Alafair Burke;^note the first book was the only one not co-authored by Burke Higgins Clark died in January 2020, ten months before the novel was published in November 2020. According to Burke, the novel was mostly finished by that point anyway and Higgins Clark was still working on the manuscript two days before her death.
