• Acting for Two: While it's not specifically called for in the script, Hook and Mr. Darling are usually played by the same actor. Some Freudian interpretations of this have been suggested, but Occam's Razor suggests the most likely reason is practical, as the two characters never share any stage time, and otherwise the actor for Mr. Darling would be languishing backstage for most of the show.
• What Could Have Been: In the original drafts of the play Hook survived the crocodile and went to chase Peter and Wendy down in London.
