  • Dummied Out:
    • Only selectable through the console:
      • A skin for Kyonshi (kyonshi/beh) with Hsien-Ko's color scheme.
      • Many poor quality and unfinished maps such as dm4ish, and the islandctf and islanddm maps.
    • There's still some data about an early map called void4. It was shipped in previous versions, but was aparted in later versions because of lack of quality.
    • Some shaders belong to two maps in 0.8.0 which were "aparted" because of lack of compliance with GPL.
  • Fanwork Ban: Compilations and any repackaging of the game's assets mixed or replaced with other assets (maps, characters, graphics) whose license clash or don't adhere with the General Public License version 2 are quite frowned upon. This goes the extra mile (though not without reason) for copyrighted content.
  • Official Fan-Submitted Content: Everything in the game.
  • Schedule Slip: 0.8.8 had many delays. The first date was November 13th., then it was moved to November 20th and December 1st. Several deadline moves pushed the game into a "When It's Done" territory. It was finally released on February 15th.
  • Vapor Ware: The reboot was announced in 2009.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • The original roadmap, as seen in the old wiki, comprised a 0.9.0 version that completed the texture replacements for the maps, and several "final" releases with the use of the more flexible Missionpack UI. These plans were hastened and 0.8.8 became the final version.
    • The old OA SVN repository hosts a lot of content that never made the cut for any official release such as many maps and a character skin. Some of the cut content eventually were released as standalone downloads on ModDB.
