• Fake Australian: Nick Stringer as Jumbo Mills (actually an Englishman who's lived in Australia for two decades, but he has to all intents and purposes assimilated and become an Aussie).
• What Could Have Been: John Sullivan wrote this episode after David Jason said he wanted to quit the show. The intended ending was that Del would accept Jumbo's offer and therefore go to Australia; Rodney's subsequent adventures running Trotters Independent Traders with Mickey Pearce would have been covered by an After Show called Hot-Rod (which would've basically been Only Fools and Horses without Del Boy). However, Jason then changed his mind, so Sullivan re-wrote the ending to have Del stay in Peckham.
• You Look Familiar: Nick Stringer, the actor who plays Jumbo, had previously appeared in "Go West, Young Man" as the Australian Del sold the dodgy Cortina to. Although both characters have Australian accents, he's actually English.
