Trivia / One Piece – Romance Dawn Arc

• Out of Order: The anime started off a bit differently than the manga. The manga unfolds pretty much in chronological order, beginning with Luffy's past in Windmill Village. The anime opens with Luffy confronting Alvida on a passenger ship (as opposed to her own ship in the manga), then the Morgan incident before finally going into Luffy's past. Zoro's past, shown in the manga in the middle of the fight with Captain Morgan, wouldn't be explored in the anime until episode 19 (in between leaving Syrup Village and reaching the Baratie).
