• Ascended Fanon:
  • Button Mash being treated as one of Sweetie Belle's potential admirers is almost certainly due the popularity of the paring in fanon (thanks to the fanwork Button's Adventures), given Button was an effective non-entity unlike the other possible admirers.
  • During the Alone Among the Couples montage, we see Lyra and Bon-Bon exchanging gifts and hugging each other, followed by a string of straight relationships, implicitly confirming that they are, in fact, a couple.
• Content Leak: This was one of several unfinished episodes which were compromised by a data breach of DHX Media and leaked to the public in late 2017, months before being completed and having the official air date.
• Short Run in Peru: The full episode was released early in Finland in mid-May 2018.
• Word of God: The sub-plot of the episode, according to story editor Nicole Duboc, was inspired by a show executive who accidentally wrote "Sugar Belle" instead of "Sweetie Belle" in the production notes.
