• Schedule Slip: The game was intially scheduled for Fall 1991, but it wound up being delayed due to a request to redesign the main characters and to avoid overlaping too much with fellow Neo Geo brawler Robo Army.
• What Could Have Been: The two player characters had different designs but wound up being redesigned after being poorly received during internal testing. Ricky Jones had a much goofier hairdo while Johnny looked more or less like he does in the final game but didn't wear shades.
• Working Title: Dreamover.
