• Creator Backlash: While Alex has long since become a greatly respected drummer and he still backs Mike Heller's decision to pick him as his live drummer (as Mike wanted someone who would understand the more subtle elements of his playing more than he wanted a fast blaster), he was out of his league when he first started and had to spend a great deal of time getting up to a good level. Whenever someone has held his early live videos against him, he has wholeheartedly agreed that he sucked and put on terrible performances, but also made a point of adding that they are a great example of what he progressed from.
