- What Could Have Been: There were originally plans for a LEGOLAND resort near Charleroi Airport in Belgium, which would've been the largest LEGOLAND in the world, beating out LEGOLAND Winsdor. While it was planned to open in 2027, it would be suddenly cancelled by Merlin Entertainments a year after its announcement in 2022, citing a "complete evaluation of its global activities."
The Video Game
- Dummied Out:
- In a particular jarring and unintentional case of a developer oversight, according to one of the music composers, an audio programmer accidentally made it so only the main theme would be heard across the whole game. This means all the other pieces intended for other areas of the game go completely unused. Particularly frustrating because they even programmed music transitions to all the other themes too, putting a ton of extra work to waste.
- On the more intentional side of things, there are also some remnants of a scrapped age-based difficulty system and some rides and ride pieces that didn't make it into the final.
- Follow the Leader: As mentioned above, this game mostly tries to mimic the success of RollerCoaster Tycoon.
