- In the notes regarding Vernon's Vernacular, BurningFox6 says that the initial concepts for the second book Frazie would go into involved her meeting Vernon's storytelling ancestors or going into a cheesy romantic sitcom.
- Pepper's Production was originally going to be set in a puppet theater before BurningFox6 realized that it was too similar to Gloria's level. A neighborhood of puppet people and a Sesame Street/Muppets-esque world were also considered, but scrapped due to seeming too much like Boyd or Dogen's minds.
